Alouette 3 spares and Lama parts

It has been a few days since we last posted something. The days have cooled down a little gratefully. During hot spells I think every one wishes they were in the air-conditioning business ! Since our last post we came across a part in SUD-AVIATION packing for the Alouette 2 dating back to June 1960. It is a Bobine PN 3130S76-13-101. If you have something older let us know.

I have a listing of parts from a Lama operator who wishes to sell everything as a lot. It includes NEW surplus, Used and core items. Items that are airworthy will have an EASA form 1. If you would like to get a copy of the listing please contact us. There are Breeze Eastern and Siren cargo hooks, ski baskets, some tail rotor blades with around 20 hours remaining etc etc.

On another matter of interest there are also a few nice structures available for the Alouette II both the 3130 and 318 – cabin , center frame, tail boom etc etc. and I have some Alouette 3 airframes available also. Let us know.

Thanks to those who have been sending us listing of parts and components available. I will list them in the very near future.

I have one set of tail rotor blades PN 3160s34-11-000-00 available, if you are interested let me know

regards

Alouette 3 and Lama engines = Artouste 3B1

Well, it’s the begining of another week and the rain has come, so things have cooled of a bit. I had an interesting call last friday, a friend of mine lamenting the cost of overhauling the Artouste3b1 engine. Are you facing same situation or are you about to? Let AeroXS help you! If you are requiring an overhaul of your engine or a standard exchange let us know. We will find you the best deal available. There is at least one engine 0 hrs time since overhaul available and as you all know they are hard to find.

Just for interest sake, and on a totally different subject matter, I would like to find the oldest surplus Eurocopter (Aerospatiale, SNIAS, Sud- Aviation) helicopter spare part out there. It can be for any helicopter type, but I guess it would have to be for the the Alouette II or Alouette III. So far I have come across some dating back to 1962 and still in pristine condition, packing and everything. If you would like to tell us, just write it in the comments section. The part has to be in the original packing to qualify. Just write the partnumber, the company’s name at teh time and the packing date on the label. Maybe I will give a nice prize for the winner. Be sure to let me know.

Ciao for now
